Tropical Breeze Cafe Vegas sounds like a nice little sandwich shop, but they have much, much more on the menu than a few muffins and turkey croissants. Dig into hot breaksfast, lunch and dinner entrees, and even some savory desserts. Well, as savory as a 24 hour diner can get.
Tropical Breeze Cafe Flamingo Vegas has a full bar, but the drinks are pretty pricey. Why would you order a $7 Miller Lite when you can get a water for free and be drinking exactly the same thing?

The Environment:

You can imagine the crowd that the Tropical Breeze Cafe Flamingo Las Vegas attracts, which is basically everyone. Young, old, drunk, drunker, drunkest. This is a 24 hour diner, don't expect a 5 star restaurant with impeccable service. Ol' Nadeen in the kitchen will fix you up something nice and greasy to soak up all the alcohol you've been drinking like it was your job for the past 8 hours and then send you off to bed to sleep it off after your hard days work. They know how tough Vegas can be.

Why We Dine:

The Tropical Breeze Cafe Vegas is more of a place of convenience than careful planning and thought.

We Can Go Any Time: Just like any 24 hour diner, the Tropical Breeze Cafe Vegas gets a lot of their business at night, when people have the drunk munchies and will eat about anything that isn't going to take 4 hours to prepare and isn't going to be limited to a salad.
So Many Sandwiches: Hot, Cold, Wraps, Burgers, probably even a breakfast sandwich if you ask nice enough. This is a cafe after all, they know how much people who love cafes love sandwiches. This isn't the upscale cafe you and your girlfriends meet for lunch at after a hard morning of boutique shopping, but it's a cafe alright. Well, it says it in the name doesn't it? Tropical Breeze Cafe Las Vegas. Yep, we see it. Cafe, right there in the title.
Lackluster Labor: They don't pull out the red carpet for you, and when we're stumbling around at 3am, that's the way we like it. We don't want some old lady bothering us the whole meal, with her judging eyes and coffee suggestions. If we want to keep drinking, we will and we don't want anyone being all over us while we're trying to drink and eat either. They provide us with our food. Nothing more. That's what we came for and that's what we get.

Inside Knowledge:

The Tropical Breeze Cafe Las Vegas does not have hot dogs. (This is a huge concern.) Unfortunately, if you want a hot dog, you should go somewhere else.

We Recommend:

Going for Breakfast: Some of the breakfast menu is served all day and all night, but the entire breakfast menu is served from 6am-11am. You can't really go wrong with breakfast, so this is one of the best meals that the Tropical Breeze Cafe Flamingo Vegas has to offer. Probably not one of the best breakfasts that Las Vegas has to offer, but if you're staying at the Flamingo Hotel, at least you can crawl there.
Not Going for Gold: As stated previously, the Tropical Breeze Cafe Vegas is a 24/7 diner at the Flamingo; don't expect 5 star quality food. Don't order the prime rib and expect to get a steakhouse quality piece of meat cooked to your liking with the freshest sides. You'll leave full, you won't overpay and you'll definitely before. What more can you ask for from a cheap Vegas diner?

No. Unless you want below average cuisine, you're not going to be super happy with this joint.
