Cheapo Games

Western (Downtown)
They always have $3 blackjack, and sometimes several tables of it. There is a near guarantee that some break-in dealer will occasionally pay you by mistake. The roulette is a quarter.
Boulder Station (Off-Strip)
$3 will be about as low as they go for table games around these parts, and you should be able to find at least one table at that during slow times. Roulette has 50-cent chips, and they may have $3 craps with 10x odds.
El Cortez (Downtown)
$5 Pai Gow, mini baccarat, and $3 single-deck blackjack that still pays 3:2. Craps is $3 when the joint's quiet, and the 10x odds are still a great deal. Quarter roulette can be spinning on four wheels and it is available for the brave soul willing to throw away a couple bucks on a high-risk wager.
Gold Spike (Downtown)
The blackjack tables are a fine $3 and with 3:2 on blackjacks. Roulette is 25-cent chips with a dollar minimum. Both match the El Cortez limits most of the time.
Circus Circus (Strip)
Games mostly start at $5 but they may have a $3 table if you can find it. Watch out for those single deck BJ games, because they pay you a dismal 6:5 on blackjack and dounble on ten or 11 only-Avoid! Craps has lousy double odds. Roulette chips can be had for a buck with a $4 min.

From those silly pennies through the roof. An improved selection of video poker with decent full pay. They don't have full-pay double bonus, but they do have full-pay video poker, even at the nickel level.
The Palms (Off-Strip)
Slots from a nickel to the sky. There are 2000 machines and that includes an insane number of the newer video slot machines and more dollar slots than should be allowed to legally assemble in one place. There's a ton of nickels, too.
El Cortez (Downtown)
From a nickel on up. They have good nickel and quarter video poker, plenty of full pay, and thanks to renovations, there is actually room to move around now.
A decent selection with many video poker machines. Most of the video poker is not full-pay, however if you look hard you will find some. Plenty of those nickel video reel slots.
Silverton (Off-Strip)
Over 1000 machines that include a wide variety of nickels and a ton of video poker varieties. This place really caters to the nickel and quarter players, and you will find just about every variation of video slots in those denominations that your god has chosen to create.

Bellagio (Strip)
You won't get a seat on one of the fancy leather chairs in here for less than $10, and usually it takes more, especially on weekends. Roulette has $1 chips with a $10 minimum bet.
Wynn (Strip)
Expect $10-$25 at the blackjack table, the same at craps, and $10 or higher at most other tables. There are a few tables at the minimums and lots at higher rates. In the evenings, and especially weekends, minimums can go as high as $100.
If you have to ask, you can't afford it. $15 table games, going higher on weekends and holidays. Craps is standard 3-4-5x, most blackjack is out of a shoe, especially at the lowest minimums. Skip the 6:5 blackjack because it's a sucker's game. Roulette is $10 minimum bets. A few oddball games with big house edges are cheaper, too.
Golden Nugget (Downtown)
Just about all games start at $5. Craps can be as low as $5 with 3x4x5x odds when it's slow. Try to avoid the lame 6:5 blackjack.
Palazzo (Strip)
Look for $10 at most table games on the weekdays. They go up lickety-split on the weekends, when it can easily be $25 a pop at the low-roller tables and easily $200 mins at a few. Roulette is $2 chips and $10 mins.

The room is massive (they claim it's the world's largest, and we can't think of any reason to dispute them, other than general orneriness) and pitch black. We're not sure if all the lights just happened to have burned out every time we visit or what, but this is one dark room. There are a number of good video poker machines nearby. It's a good book, it's just too bad it's inconvenient to truck all the way out here.
Bally's (Strip)
CLOSED UNTIL SEPTEMBER 2009. The room looks like a stadium. It's pretty darn awesome, actually. One of the best in town. It's not near the casino, but way the heck at the back of the property behind the Avenue Shoppes, on the way to the monorail.
Bellagio (Strip)
Like the 21 Club in New York, you feel like a big, rich cigar-chomping hotshot watching sports here.
The massive room is divided into separate sections for race and sports books, both of which are enormous. There is also a lounge seating area, which is always a plus if you're watching with friends.
This is easily one of the nicest race books in town. Too bad the sports book kind of stinks for watching games. In the sports book, the betting windows are on one side of the bar, and the seating and TVs are on the other side.

Bellagio (Strip)
7-Card Stud: Hold-em: Omaha 8: Mixed Games (hi-lo, lo-ball, etc.), they spread from limit $4-$8 up to $30-$60 and no-limit up to $5-$10 or higher if they can get the players.
Stud, Razz, Omaha, Hold 'Em, or so they say. Expect mostly Hold'em with some Omaha. The limits vary for games with the widest range for Hold 'Em, but expect No Limit from $1-$2 and limit from $3-$6 on up. They even have some high-limit games when there is demand.
The Mirage (Strip)
They'll pretty much deal anything, especially Omaha, Stud, and Hold 'Em. There are limits in all ranges, including some low-limit, like $3-$6 Hold 'em up to $200-$400 in the back room. Sometimes it goes even higher. The No-limit games range from $1/$2 to $5/$10 with buy-ins from $50-$1000 buy-in.
Hard Rock (Off-Strip)
No limit is $1-$2 and $2-$5 are regulars, with $3-$6 and $4-$8 limit less regular. They may get a mixed game going if there is enough interest.
Binions (Downtown)
7-Card Stud $1-$5: Hold-em $2-$4, $3-$6: Omaha occasionally. They have no-limit, and other high-limit games on busy nights.
