Can't Miss Events for April in Vegas 2013
Is everyone else feeling as parched and ready to rage as Casino Boy? Mardi Gras and St. Patrick’s Day are long over, leaving a trail of carnage in their wake, and we have the Facebook photos to prove it. Easter is hardly Casino Boy’s favorite holiday, what with the family time, creepy guys all over Vegas in bunny suits, and an undeniable bellyache from all of the chocolate, it can’t come and go fast enough! What is there to look forward to this April in Vegas? Sure, this month doesn’t have any of the scheduled holidays (which we all know are just excuses to party), but that just means we have to be more creative with finding outlets for our debauchery, right? Casino Boy still thinks there are some Vegas events and things to do in Vegas this April that will satisfy your thirst and get you by until Cinco De Mayo next month. Here are the Casino Boy Picks for Las Vegas hotel events and parties you can't miss this April:
Hakassan Grand Opening at MGM Grand Las Vegas:
Casino Boy has this on his list (okay, he would if he had a list) of things he’s dying to check out this Spring! MGM Grand has been undergoing renovations since, Oh I don’t know--forever, and supposedly they’ve spent all this time and money (over $100 million on construction costs alone!) to create the ultimate Las Vegas restaurant and nightlife hybrid. The grand opening sounds like it’s going to be the definition of epic, with some of the best DJ’s around getting the party started with the catchiest set lists. Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Tiesto and Calvin Harris are among the line-up that will be there spinning all night at this hot new nightclub. Casino Boy likes when the alcohol is flowing freely and the girls are even freer with their standards for a choice of dance partners...who knows, sounds like the Hakassan Grand Opening will have a combination of both. Hopefully this new Las Vegas venue lives up to the hype! Set a reminder for the weekend of April 18 so we can all find out together whether this was worth the wait or not.
Beach Summer Camp and Nectar Music Festival
Ahhh summer camp...those were the days, weren’t they? Have you ever thought about how awesome it would be to relive summer camp but with unlimited access to adult beverages and girls who are more welcoming to your advances than those stuck up ones at Camp Massapequa? Casino Boy certainly does! The Hard Rock Hotel Beach Summer Camp starts back up this month, and we can’t wait. This adult pool party/summer camp hybrid is on the shore of Paradise Beach at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, and promises to be great way to get a headstart working on those tans before summer gets here. Women will be showing off their bods in scantily-clad bikinis, and everyone can expect to be entertained by the SKAM aritists, who will be doubling up as camp counselors. Water balloon fights, squirt gun battles and more fun await starting Friday April 20. The Nectar Music Festival also gets going this month at the Hard Rock hotel, and the schedule is jam-packed with cool artists.
American Country Music Fan Jam
Looking for something to do this weekend? Okay, so we know everyone is not a fan of country music, but think of this more as a hot party to attend on the Vegas strip than a typical country music fest. Brad Paisley is going to be headlining, and the event takes place at the same time as the American Country Music Awards. Hey, have we ever passed up a chance to be on TV and a raging party? No, no we have not. Try and spot some celebs like Dierks Bentley and Hunter Hayes too who will be there performing and celebrating their big win with the fans (or drinking away their troubles after a loss).
